Xmas & Boxing Day 2010

Anybody know what the situation & law is regarding this yrs Xmas & Boxing day days off, I have read that we should all get the Monday & Tuesday off in liue as these days fall on a Sat & Sun this yr, my dom is saying different as he's been advised from higher up.

If your night shift then you'll probably be back in on the Tuesday night/ Wednesday morning at midnight. tbh I don't see the point though as there won't be much point with no mail coming in

after Christmas it will be 3 days work then new year :) for 3 or 4 days off I think.

I think We will be hammered on the day we return :( with 30000000000 catalogue / brochure waiting for us.

Yeh we'll go back to 87,0000 saga mags, 112,0000 studio mags, 89,578, sky mags,6 lots of d2d's inc virgin,pizza,more pizza,farmfoods ,specsavers,and dominoes f***ing pizza. Followed by dfs a4's for every house, oh and the occasional postcard from ryhl. wish you were here. Works dropping off though.

I went back to work last year thinking I was gonna have a lovely day after being hammered on the parcels before xmas. But no, they'd decided to bring back lapsing hadn't they so people had left stuff in the frames so they could complete on time. Muggins ere ended up delivering half of a round I'd never done before and a bundle only did about 10 houses what with all the catalogues and shite in em.

And Studio/Ace/Whatever they're called sending out Xmas 2011 booklets just as Xmas 2010 is over ffs... Honestly, it could wait a week or two couldn't it?!

You would think so, but no, RM want to take anything and everything on asap. Boost thier performance profits up so the spanners at the top can justify paying themselves even bigger bonuses again come april.

I was thinking more about why the COMPANY wants to send the stuff out before the festive period has even finished! It's like deciding what you want for next xmas as soon as you've opened your presents.
