What do i need to do, to be able to use my own car on delivery?

Special type of insurance???

DO NOT USE YOUR OWN CAR! :no no This is being stopped as per the 2010 and beyond agreement! Anyway, why would you want to? :crazy:

am on different walks each day, so was just going to make my life easier, by doing it

All they need is your licence/mot(if needed)/insurance, 80% of people use car at my place including me so dont listen to all these people saying dont use your car, do whatever you want.

All they need is your licence/mot(if needed)/insurance, 80% of people use car at my place including me so dont listen to all these people saying dont use your car, do whatever you want.
..........and therein lies the problem! Attitudes like that have killed the job.

You need business insurance and to bring all your documents into the office for you DOM to check over so that you'll be covered by the RM Bond. The 2010 agreement will mean that all PCOD will be stopped (some offices already have it as a conduct issue now) so the best thing is to not use your car at all and do the job properly and let RM pick up extra bits.

Buisness insurance, lot of companies put on free of charge if you ring up or charge £20 or so.
This ain't no baseball game, you get only one chance and you blew it.

Dont use it because if your car gets broken into and the mail taken you will find yourself fighting to keep your job.

We've used the new agreement to ban cars with the new revisions going in, for me this has been 1 good thing to come from the agreement. We expect people to be conduct coded if caught using cars! Not everyone will agree with this, as we have CDV in the office then I don't see a problem with the ban.

Watchote i also used to use my car on delivery when i was a reserve, as the alternative was to walk miles back to the DO to pick up my car, as managers and the CWU said you 'finnish on the street'.
Do you do that? walk for miles to pick up your car at the end of the day, after your finishing time? or
do you finish near your house? or
do you have a van? or
do you finish near the DO?
Unless it's the first your not in a position to lecture!
