Now correct me if I am wrong but are we not meant to insert each contract into our frame separately??

The majority of our office considers it standard practice to insert one inside the other and carry them in bundles behind the mail.....

Surely these companies are not getting what they pay for in that case? If a sky is inside an ASDA or whatever is the company going to get the advertising they require??

Exactly, but managers don't give a monkey's when it comes to ensuring everyone does the job as it should be done, simply because it would cost their office time and money.

As far as i am aware , you should not put them inside each other. The way i do it, is, and i think i interpreted the agreement right, is to, throw ALL the mail in,then in my case , majority of double slots on the top row, take out the first slot , seperate the addresses,having first laid the contracts out on your fitting, make them up into how many you need and put the said contracts at the back of each address and continue to do this for the one sixth per day you need to take out... simples...now this takes fekkin ages to do, and we havent been given more time to do it in, and with extra ips we do...it keeps me of lapsing and mostdays i cant even complete my duty......and i am doing nothing wrong..... how easy is that.???

they are not meant to be inserted into 1,but everyone in my d.o does this .in theory when you post them the fall to the floor and seperate into single ones again

It's not often you get that: a mackem making sense.

They probably come apart when they hit the ground anyway, so I don't think it really makes a lot of difference.

Personally, I put them all inside the biggest. . . unless the manager is watching :)

PG is correct, they're to be prepped separatley into the frame and you should have time built into the duty to do it (but don't have), do the job as per instructions (I'm sure Teebs will post up the relevent document) and either claim the OT or cut off (or whatever instruction your DOM gives you).
