Christmas Pressure Query

An ex employee wishes to come back this christmas and work the pressure period at one of our mail centres.As he was retired and only left Royal Mail this January-does he have to wait 2yrs before he can work here again or can he work this Christmas.Any help/info would be great!!

Not for his sanity that's for sure!!!

He was only in for about 9 years before being forced to take retirement-so needs the money i guess!!

In the past we've had retired staff (including a recently retired manager once) come back at Xmas as Xmas casuals.

If he retired on ill health grounds, he normally couldn't apply for a job until 2 years have elapsed, but maybe if it's only a temp position, he might get back in/

I would just appley for job they never do the checks that they should do so dont see why he would not get the job
