Roll of honour

Post by rhino49 »

I've heard of, and seen a number of acts of kindness and support from firms and individual customers and the public at large during this dispute - if they've been good to us we should be good to them - give them a mention on here by way of a thankyou to them and a great big "up yours" to the ones who don't care about us (you know who you are) 3MC at Cadman House in Sale sent over fresh coffee for the picket line today - and did the washing up afterwards

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

A guy suited & booted walked up to our picket line and asked if we are on strike, we said 'we were', got his wallet out and handed over £20 for tea/coffees etc :Applause

Unison have visited a few times and offered help, photocopying etc :Applause
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

The Vulcan Pub in Huddersfield - on the first day they even asked the pickets if they should accept a Special of a Manager and did not even speak to him till the posties had cleared it. Also for being able to use their facilities.

I think we were on to a winner as he had a Liverbird tattoo and I mentioned a couple of us used to be in the City of Liverpool Fld Amb many years ago.
Senior NCO's know how to look after and manage people. Something Royal Mail managers know nothing about.
