Lets be honest who actually delivers there D2D's?

I will be honest i deliver D2D's when ive only got 1 lot if i got 3 or 5 tough s**t i say but then i have know some who just dont give a monkey and just bin the lot. So what about you?

D2D is classed as live mail now. Refusing to delay the mail in any way is called wilful delay.

I can't believe this thread, I've always delivered all my D2Ds and would never even think of not doing them Why anyone wouldn't do them is just laziness and probably because they need to rush around to get more OT.

Someone in my office has just been sacked for dumping D2D's , makes no sense as they are in workload now, if you have no time to deliver them then just tell your lino you have no time easy as that!!

I'm with DGP1 on this and have always delivered them, funnily enough it is one of the the things we get paid for, or has that been forgotten

Its live mail now and WILL get you the sack if your caught dumping it

The only drops i dont deliver to are the opt outs and 3 empty properties which are being developed. I throw a row off per day and take them where iam going, by friday they are all gone

Had plenty of those direct line booklets which ive spent all week picking up when they slip from the bundles

check out the news item about a postie not delivering D2Ds and getting a criminal record.

TBH I dont see the sense in not - if delivering D2Ds takes me over I claim or cut off - after advising the manager of course.

If the bags are too heavy then I split them down - then see above.

If I get 5 and do the 16% and it makes me out late - then see above.

I am with the member who said they can tell me what to do during my normal working hours they can even tell me to do 2 duties if they want. Just as long as I get done on time or they pay me docket. Otherwise its coming back/getting left in.
