At the moment, after finishing my round, I'm so tired that I can barely stand.

I saw our revision walks today, and it looks like we will have another half a duty to do on top of what we have just now.

My question is, if I can barely manage the duties we have now, how am I going to cope after the revision comes in?

How long does your walk take you to do at the moment and how long will this "half a duty" take you?

Well said :-) They can add 3 deliveries onto mine I will still finish at the same time, not saying all the work will be done but i will be finishing the same time.

I've been worrying about that ever since i seen this agreement, if i was 10 - 15 years older i would be frightend.
If you genuenly can't do it you may have to go down the route of an employment tribrunal, for constructive dissmisal.

If you already do the job properly what diffrence will it make?
If your out an hour earlier thats still a lot more walking.

The problem is jock IWT and pegasus assume that's what you are doing....and they are still kicking out unrealistic indoor and outdoor workloads.
So what happens when the computer says yes but you say no?
You'll probably say f**k it i don't care and i will be the first to agree with you but i'm not worried about you or me because we won't be targeted will we?....they'll bully and harass the ones who can't fight back because that's what they do.

But doing the job properly involved taking out one sixth D2D per day, not one fifth ;)

The revisions to be implemented at our office are totally unrealistic. It looks like a post xmas start now. If enough people bring back mail on a regular basis surely that is an indicator of an unrealistic workload? I think this topic will be quite prevalent over the next few months, once everyone is trying to cope with the revised workload. By staggering the implementation of the revisions the outcry won't be quite as loud as everyone starting at the same time.

To anyone but Royal Mail it would be.
Not everyone will bring back mail most will work extended, of those that do bring it back they will get hasseld every day until there numbers decline.
