Shared Vans Hours Of Duty
For those lucky few that are now on this Shared Van's nonsense, what are your hours of duty now. What time do you start and finish on Saturday's?

Crewe dely office is........ if your on delivery only its 06.30 till 15.10 and saturday 07.00 till 15.00, delivery and collection is 08.00 till 18.00 saturday 07.00 15.00 all on continental shifts 4 on 3 off etc etc

We have gone for 9 day fortnight
Mon = 6:30 - 14:55
Tue = 6:30 - 14:55
Wed = 6:00 - 14:55
Thu = 6:00 - 14:55
Fri = 6:00 - 14:55
Sat = 6:00 - 14:25
Wk1 Mon off
Wk2 Tue and Wed off
Wk3 Thu off
Wk4 Fri and Sat off
Long,long weekend every 4 weeks. Not to be sniffed at
Mon = 6:30 - 14:55
Tue = 6:30 - 14:55
Wed = 6:00 - 14:55
Thu = 6:00 - 14:55
Fri = 6:00 - 14:55
Sat = 6:00 - 14:25

ithink the reason there trying to push this in is because the the rounds are to big to complete within our current hours mon-fri 6.30-14.30 and sat 6.00-14.00, i think it worked out at 9hrs-45mins for 4 days. are your times minus your tea breaks etc ?.jessicarabbit wrote:We have gone for 9 day fortnight

These times include 20 min MR before out the door and 20 mins when you return. The deliveries are big though don't get me wrong.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
