full revision today

Our full revision came in today with CDV'S and CSS machines just to let everyone know what a nightmare!
Most people didnt get done till 5pm (first few days we will work it) We agreed 1 week to settle it in then we will all start cutting off. What have the planners done! All the walks were wrong. By the way our office is sheepscar LS7. Any more revision disasters out there?

Were you allowed to have any involvement in the planning process or were the walks revised without you having any input?

There will be no bedding in period from me.
If you aren't getting finished until 5pm....it's a bag of shite and waiting a week will not change that.
We were screwed years ago by a "trial period" and those words are now officially banned in our D.O.

As we all know most revisions even those we do ourselves on our own go tits up for a while.
But reading on here that 4hr walks are really 5 hrs and the planners have fecked up is going to make it much harder if ever for it to calm down.

Looks like collections won't be done if posties are out till tea time.

First day should have no teething problems, but its happened already. This raises the question on working to your time...how do you work to your time on the first day of a revision, when its never been done before and the dom thinks its ok because geo route says it works and you can't argue with that.

Look, you do your contracted hours, no more, no less. It don't matter whether it's the first day of your new revised walks, or the 1,000th day, if it's been cocked up, it's been cocked up, end of.
When our revision comes in, I will be doing what I do today and every day, my contracted hours, no more, no less. Those idiots wanted the revisions, I didn't. Seen enough of these cost-cutting exercises to last me several lifetimes, and I couldn't care less if I never saw another revision ever again.

Our planned revision looks a about 20% optimistic but we'll give it a go for a couple of weeks. We can't be certain that van sharing won't save a lot of time until we actually do it.
The only time we can really see saved is if we carry pouches on our backs and use the van as a pouch box but of course you can't do that.

It's only fair to give it a chance because I don't want it to fail - if I can do twice as much in half the time then that suits me fine - but I doubt it will work.

Ours has been suspended until next year,they started it got a good way in then we refused to sign stuff of because it was very dubious and as i have said before some of the rubbish the planners have come up with is pure rubbish next thing was it was suspended until next year.

Wonder how other cdv revsion will go like in other offices in the leeds area. I heard airebrough ls18 is due one in november. Also heard they are sending all the rehab cases to ls7 sheepscar.

Revision goes live north east here in 3 weeks time. Personally not the best time to start a fresh just before the xmas rush. Remember you'll be taking everything out, but i think the packets will be getting brought back on o/t...even after xmas.
