Sky Mags - Possible Grumble ??

I'm fairly sure that the Sky Mags arrived in our office - and under our frames - early last week ...

It was my week off ...

I returned today to find eight bundles of the buggers STILL under my frame - so it looks like nowt went out last week. Reckon that's worth a grumble to my lino when he returns from his day off tomorrow ?

In my area the mailsort sky's came in early last week but the bulk of them(2nd class) didn't arrive until friday. :neutral:

All ours were in by Friday, I'm sure by the vibe on here that this applies to most offices. Just ask the (good) guys around you when they got theirs, then you'll know.

they didnt arrive all in one go, we had some last week and there was some sorted today.

Arrived friday at ours.

Was told to do half 2nd class on friday and saturday. finish off rest of 2nd class today and then complete the rest of them by friday this week.
working for Royal Mail, is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle.......

I'm a floater. The walk I did had all the Sky Mags there on friday. I was under the impression they had to be done by the end of the week, so I did them all. Next day, different walk, ALL the mags there, NONE been done, again I did them all. Are you telling me I could have left some to be done this week?

What are the rules, if any, regarding when they have to be done by? I'm sure we always used to get them on a monday and had all week to do them.

I'm sick of being left piles of cack by duty holders.

At least I got a couple of hours overtime. Woo Hoo, that'll pay for a pint and a half. . . :roll:

They're to be done by the end of the month not the end of the week.

I was in work long before Rupert Murdoch's crap magazines came out.
Why, if they disappear, would I be, or anyone else for that matter, out of work?
Seems to me, there's a Hell of a lot of other crap out there besides that SKY rubbish, wouldn't you say? :Very Happy

Redbag same here mate but only four bundles mostly 2nd class and a bundle of mail sort letters and 2 packets.

There just lazy fookers who cant be arsed doing them and think oh well he can do them when he gets back.

I wouldnt mind before i went on leave i said to the lad covering my duty that on the saturday i would clear my frame as long as he did for my return and he agreed.

You learn alot of the character of man at times like these and a small percentage are lazy,selfish bar stewards that need a good kick up the arse.
