due to approx 5 or 6 staff racing around their duties and getting finished early we where told this morning, that from tomorrow we have to take the parcels, special del, tracked items for our lapsing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how can the ones who do the job properly cope with this!!!!!! i for one struggle as it is and was told to "just deal with it" looks like i will be pulling a sickie soon, i can cope with all the crap they give us and dont listen!!!!!!!!!!

Im on 6 hours per day on a heavy walk,I sort mail for the Local Council,St Lukes Hospice and Hospital,Also sort the mail for my round which has roughly 40 businesses on,So can be really heavy on the mail.
3 hours 30 to deliver,30 min meal relief,Leaves just 2 hours to sort,Prep,Travel back and 2 from the job,Today told them where to go and left 45 mins in my frame.
The boss rushed to my frame to count the mail,Told him to sod off,St lukes,The Hospital and the council is taken by the pouch drop guy,Who had already left,So how could he do a true count? Sick of the bullshit these bosses give now,Really sick and tired of it.

We ALWAYS have to take the parcels for our lapsing, unless there driver size ones of course!
Cant see how you can be expected to do the tracked and specials tho as theres no way of guaranteeing you'l get them done on time

walking staff in ours dont have to take tracked or any other recorded item on there own walks or the lappsing poor drivers get them all 52 tracked to day like

Tell your DOM that all walks need to be taken on an individual merit. just because one finishes early does not mean all can absorb.

We have always had to take parcels on lapsing? The specials/tracked/etc all go out with the drivers.

We are. I think it's 54 new ones, to be followed by the stripped down version for walkers - that's two per CDV, Bulk, Rural Van - some will be doubled up on collections when the old scanners are binned...............any time soon so I'm told.

If they give us new PDAs will they have to change the in van chargers (or in our case, actually install chargers that work ).
