COLLEAGUE SHARES...? and clarification needed please.....

Hi, I am currently on my PILON ...got Ill health retirement...so therefore 9 weeks pay and lump sum, could you tell me anything about these colleague shares please...I have been at RM since 2001, I was told I would get the shares ' soon after my lump sum' ,...Not happened as yet, its been 6 weeks since my lump sum/ PILON came through, should I have to chase this up? A colleague of mine SAID she got hers a couple of weeks after her lump sum...?

Also, there was no breakdown on my documents regarding these payments, just the final figures...? I know the lump sum is not taxed etc, but I was assured the PILON definately would be...? But on my documents it just states the lump sums of both of these figures..., doesnt break down if I have paid tax/ni on the PILON payment...? so confused, dont even know if I should be signing on for my stamp, dunno if it has already been taken out or not? not very happy with the help after I have finished, not clear at all, I had to finish as I have loads of health problems and couldnt travel a 70 mile journey each night to warrington, from crewe , they just seem glad to get shot... can understand, but would still be working if they could find a job for me locally... :cfo

Don't know how it works with IHR but a friend who took EVR had all his payments in his last wage slip, EVR, CS and weeks pay.

The Paid notice is not taxed or subject to NI .However the remaining leave you have and the shares ( roughly about £1100 for FT ) are subject to tax and NI....

Thanks for your info, thats great....but should I chase up these colleague shares, or is it done automatically...? it will be 6 weeks since I was paid off, and thought I would have got this by now... Just dont want them forgetting about me lol

Chase them up as much as you want -if your entitled then, as you no longer work for RM, they can't complain to anyone, and if they did so what.

There was no mention or breakdown of any of the monies, apart from one was a lump sum payment for pilon..., and one was a lump sum in payment for pro rata type thing of me being with rm for 9 years..? I think I might have to get on to sheffield...?

In your final payslip , you should have had a 34 weeks pay, 9-12 weeks notice period, whatever leave you were owed and the shares ( assuming you qualified for them )... Ring HR otherwise...

not too sure if Op is entitled to shares now, as this years allocation were taken back and paid out in bonuses. And again, as the others are 'tied up' with the revision, it may be there will be no payment!

The future allocation is to be paid out in targets ( which was part of the Pay deal )...The previous allocation (currently £1100 for FT ) is still to be paid...Sure its half in 2011 and the rest in 2012...

Thats for those who havent had theres already....£1.51 are the last price they will valued out btw...
