Who keeps a check on hours Managers work ??

Surely it's time that a proper time keeping system is introduced into RM rather than just a poxy paper system.

Managers seem to swan in and out as they like.

If you ask them (jokingly) why they are in late or going early, the reply is always - we have meetings to go to !!!

When we ask the mangers in our office where their sign on sheets are.We are told that they DO NOT have to sign in.Lucky if a manger is in the office after 13.30 weekdays and 09.30 on a saturday.

Of course they should sign in for health and safety reasons alone as usually they are what is termed as PIC Person In Charge of premises the HSE, LEA and fire brigade to name but a few would have a field day.

No offence to everyone but why would you want them on the office at all??? I'd personally be happy if they didn't come in at all (except the IPS would take longer

Meetings eh? Our DOMs away early everyday cause his little Pooch needs to be walked..

delivery managers are definately the worst when it comes to managing a full day in the office....many are simply too lazy,it is an absolute joke....especially on a saturday.....i look forward to the day when many of them lose their jobs....pity many of us will lose ours too...

our lino has 2 offices he spends all his time in the other office and most of the time we are left in charge by a supervising phg, the other week we had a relief lino for a day .... guess where he spent most of his "working time" ... in the local sainsbury store shopping

I find these threads strange,my lot are always to their time sometimes even later,they have the odd early one but not many,weird.
