D2D on lapsed duties.

at our delivery office we lapse three deliveries on three days of the week, and are asked to put in and deliver the D2d for the part of the lapsed duty that we cover. I obviously have up to five D2D for my own delivery, could someone who knows please advise that it is above board that we are also responsible for D2D on lapsed duties. Thanks.

If you are doing the same bit over the 3 days you can do the d2d over them 3 days.

What D2D are being done on the 3 days it's not lapsed? surely should be 50%.

end of the day lapsing is to fill your day to its hours
so as long as its all done within duty hours then thats acceptable

what about 20% per day!!!!! thats all i did. 3 days = 60%!!! unfortunately we lapse EVERY day so i have to do 100%

Thankyou for replies, the answer seems to be deliver them if time is available. The manager would prefer that all D2D are delivered by the postmen covering the lapsed duty at the beginning of the week, so that when a part timer is put on the job later in the week he doesnt get bogged down with D2D.

we lapse on mon and tues the D2D are done on weds thurs and fri,
this is a local agreement .as the lapsed duty is so easy ( all terraced off the pavement) that those that deliver it the rest of the week agreed

i don,t do d2d on lapsed duties cos ive enough time trying to do my own
i do not do lapsed duties mail going up now not down i will not do lapsed duties if it requires ot on my own d2d or not
they can shove it right up
