Just spoken to our local MP today regarding RM plans for changes, he knew quite a lot about our concerns and had received postcards from numerous posties. He will be joining our fight to keep the USO & say NO to Zonal pricing.

our branch sec told me on the line that my tory m.p has chatted to him and his answer was he was only prepared to get involved in local issues not national issues ???????

If closing post offices and attacking public services isn't a local issue then I don't know what is.

what do you expect from a tory all hes interested is rural post offices under threat as thats where he gets his votes from
