Can I be moved off my round?

I do my round properly everyday so therefore book overtime for most of the week. Other lads in the office who do day off cover or holiday cover do the rounds in their cars and run round, door stepping parcels, going over peoples gardens ect. Therefore they don't book as much overtime cutting all these corners. Now I've been spoken to about my hours and how long it takes me. The boss has said that when others do the round they dont book as much as me. I've explained why and that I usually have all the complaints when I come back on my round. He's then said that he's spoke with the manager and he has said that I should be swapped with someone who wants to do the round. I take this as putting me to be floater while the floater takes my round. Can they do this? I have seniority. Also it makes you feel like I'm doing the round properly but because someone is willing to run round and use there car and cut corners they're now gonna take your round. Its a case of conform to there methods or be punished.

no chance, see your union rep, your doing the job right, ask for your walk to be tested, if they get away with this, then it becomes jobs for the boys and the end of seniority.

If you chose the duty as part of a resign then its your duty.Get your union rep to help you put in a grievance against the manager citing discrimination.
Also request that the duty be manually timed with the manager and rep in attendance.If its found to be over I've gone one of two ways; get the extra taken off and put in as S/A or put in pre scheduled overtime which is added to the duty everyday.
If these clowns are doing what they're doing then they are breaching health and safety regulations.Get the manager to check their insurance documents, if they're only covered by SD & P then they're not insured to do their delivery and they're a liability to the public.
The grievance though is the best policy, puts the fear of god into them.

Regardless of signing for a round or not I'm sure "flexibility" or "operational needs" could quite easily see you taken off it.

But it sounds like its not an operational need I don't think and flexibility requires agreement by the member "swings and roundabouts" not unagreed movement from one duty to another just to cut pressure down.

Careful what you say to them though, our dom reciently asked us if the usual people on the runs asked us to slow down etc and said if they did its a form of bullying! Just be careful and dont leave yourself open to them!

The problem is the c***s who are stitchin me up are;
1, On other rounds so fill the boss with bullshit because they know if there are any changes that it will be their rounds it will be added on. he believes them because they're up his arse and go for drinks together.
2, Don't give a f**k about anyone else and just want to get my round or anyone elses they do done as quick as possible, therefore making me and others look bad.
Some others in the office have said they think I'm being stiched up and think I should get the union involved to cover my arse. I don't really want to stir up trouble but feeling now I may have no choice, thats whether the union would help. They have not done anything for our office yet in the past. It's a very small office and more a less every man for himself attitude, but I know a lot of us are pissed off with certain collegues because the office seems to be run round them.
