THE postman always rings twice - but for Coventry woman Brenda Grant, he has not rung at all for four months.
The 52-year-old lives in a new street and, despite registering her address and postcode with Royal Mail, the postie has not been delivering her mail.
As a result she has not received important documents, and her phone was almost cut off as she had not paid a bill - because she hadn't received it.
Now Brenda, a cook supervisor for Coventry City Council, who lives in Thackwell Street, Stoke, is at the end of her tether.
She said: "The only time I have got any mail since moving in on December 18, was when I rang up to complain.
"About four times now somebody has come round in a van and dropped off several weeks worth of post, but then disappeared until I complained again.
Aspokesman for Royal Mail apologised for any inconvenience caused to Brenda and her neighbours.
"The street falls between two delivery rounds so at the moment we don't have a permanent member of staff for it.
"We are reorganising deliveries to cope with the new houses and will make sure the street gets its own postman or postwoman."

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
