Just having a ganders at the Courier and noticed a little item on the above..Designed to "push mail through letter boxes to help avoid bites to fingers and hands" !!!!
Is this a wind up ?? Which design guru got these through Dragons Den and thought it was a good idea ??? Has anyone ever seen them ? FFS if I get a snarling mutt with its snout half way through a letter box the best they are going to get is letters pushed half way trough for said pest to do the rest of the work and shred them to bits.
Post it Pegs !!! Someone is having a laugh and probably getting paid vast sums to think up such garbage,,,,What next...

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
We had loads of them in the other month, red plastic things. The management have never handed them out perhaps they want us to get injured then that'll be more sackings. Could've done with one when that cat got me. I would've shoved it down its f***ing throat!
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets
If you are using the peg then you obviously know there is a rabid mutt behind the door...so...why are you trying to deliver mail to a house with a rabid mutt behind the door...are you that stoooopid?...
You would be as well shoving the peg up your nose and finishing the job.

Now thats not a bad shout,,,Perhaps they are waiting for some laptop guru in the ivory tower to come up with a three letter acronym for them (PIPs would be to simple !)
Anyway I thought of one. How about AFA ? (Additonal F***ing About) As if there isnt enough to do without digging these chuffers out of your pocket !

"Today’s workplace has become heartless and soulless. Employees are seen as units of labour, automatons, functionaries, objects for achieving designated tasks, and as costs to be minimised."
Used mine last week in a dog related incident.Scraped the dog s**t out of the tread of my shoes.
Maybe we should be issued with Royal Mail utility belts.Something you could wear to clip your helmet to, a pocket for your 739s, a pen pocket, mobile phone pouch, a pocket for your dog spray, dog clip, PDA, water bottle, bike lock . . . . . . . . .

As this is RM we work for, the belts would be have to be made out of cheap plastic and have a batman logo on the buckle.

Why mess up your 'PIP', you have a bag full of letters for that job !!
"Jesse, take that doirty thang out ya mouth"
"I can't ma, he's a holdin' ma ears"
The other day, a strengthened 'Do Not Bend' envelope obviously containing a certificate. Properly through the letterbox unbent, only to hear it then torn to shreads by a big ferocious sounding dog.
