Change of Hours

Wonder if anyone can help me out on this one, can the DOM in my office change a fellow workers hours from 11am start to a 10 am start, and if he can how much notice does he have to give? Cheers

DOM should put written proposal to your rep or Area Rep of their intention. The request cannot be rejected 'out of hand' and a reasoned response should be given. All aspects of impact to the individual should also be taken into account (child care etc).

um you just do what the buggers tell you. i was on n/s for years, they done away with that. no notice....then moved to early shift 7am start, then moved to 630am and now under the new agreement theey are changing again to 8am

They changed ours and didn't tell us they were doing it. We just had to get on with it, couldn't do ought about it. Cocked a few of the lads up with their picking up the kids but they just had to sort summat out. RM couldn't give a toss about your family or life after work as long as it don't interfere with them, if it does they still couldn't give a toss, you either comply or leave.

Cheers dave7634,threw that at the DUM this morning, he did'nt know what to do.
p.s i am the rep in the office, i thought that was the case just wanted to hear from somewhere thanks again was'nt to sure.
