Anyone offered EVR or buy downs re office revision

Just as the subject says. Our office is losing quite a few rounds on the 4hr 30min revision. However no evr's or buydowns on offer. Is this the same all over?
Plus how does each office determine who gets the evr/buy down. is it done on seniority now?

It is seniority from this month.

My DOM under orders from above put up a notice inviting OPG's to request a soft quote for EVR/VR, plenty did.

However it's more a case of putting staff in for my D.O revision as the IWT does not ask for enough savings to counter act all the vacanies we have

I have been told no evr or buydowns , cupboards bare on that score. They are going to move people around a bit like years ago when they had a six oclock spare in mail centres.

Yip- for years now, this buy down, E.V.R gets bandied about, but in practice, very few are offered it.

A lot of people have been terminated at our office. Seems we are in a boot camp, watch out for XFRM, so no need for the above 2, only the fittest will remain in post

Not in our office either. They've gave very favourable quotes but nobody was offered EVR (may aswell have offered £1Million each :) )

I really think the union screwed us again with evr's and buydowns. I mean lots of posties are wanting these so why no offer it.
Now say a postie who is struggling has to lower his hours for free, and people wanting evr and i hear lots of people do can't get it.
I think RM are getting rid of people for free by shoving so much work onto us until we drop.

I've been asking every month since we got a letter asking if we would be prepared to take EVR last December!!
Every time the area manager shows his face in our office the last reply was,,,it's all under review now No
more updates till next year
