Shorter notice for change of working hours

Well, Saturday, we were told our hours would change as from monday. How about that for a notice. Our DOM, also called F.T C.......er, couldn't be bothered to even speak to us about it before hand. Mind you, we haven't been involved in the revision so far,too. I just wonder which office had the shorter notice and if you Lino actually speak to you or use his managers to do so, a bit like the Master uses his surbodonates to speak to the SLAVES (US).

The 39 hour week is connected to targets on sequence sorting mail to DO's, 30min reduction when you meet 50% target, the full hour once you sequence all mails.

Is this change of start times or change of working hours? For change of start times we never even got told let alone a warning about it they just did it. We turned up for work the mail turned up later. I can't see our hours being reduced because then the rounds would never get out. To do the rounds properly everyday it would take us well over 40 hours for the week. They're not gonna change the rounds so the weekly hours won't change either.

Thought Dom had to give you 28 days notice of change of Duty Time ?

Our starting times are from 0700-0730 (0730 saturday to f**k it up for everyone, sorry for my crude language) instead of 0600 in the week and 0500 on saturday. 39 hours but we are cutiing off left, right and center the last few days (I really feel very sorry for customers but we just have to stand up firm against that DOM we have at the moment as he is really a F.T remover.

iv fought change of hours in our d.o for months for certain ppl, then i return from a break and the managers cornered a guy and "persuaded" him to try it.

He didnt feel he needed to tell the rep because it was his choice.

Apparently it dosent matter about the ppl covering him or weakening the others position, its all about him!
