IWT revision it said, we were to have with workshops etc, it said!


What a load of bullcrap!
The only training I got was a CD kindly donated by my area rep.

As a delivery unit rep I have had nothing except stress due to the fact that I have been waiting for this so-called
IWT revision, which is basically a wolf in sheeps clothing!!
I'ts the old evil business plan where they want their 5% savings again and nothing has changed in the way they are doing it
except now we can't even disagree easily because managent and union will only use the IR framework as a very, very last resort.
And the DSM's won't let it go that far!
So now I have to argue the same old crap about we can't take no more mr dim and then get shot down in flames with less power than we had before
and selfish bloody colleagues who will still come in early and use their friggin cars etc.
NOTHING CHANGES!!
8 hours, that's all I do, put on what you like!!

I get on here when I can to swat up on things and I cant get to look at everything because of commitments.
My point is, that as a local rep who might not be looking at this site, they are totally in the dark about things!
I am aware of the six step process etc but it hasnt been used yet in my office!

Postman ive forgotten how many times i have read the 6 step its a waste of time, why in our office is the planner already starting on phase 4 when phase 2 is not complete, we in our office flag this up day in day out the dom just hides in his office and the area rep will not flag it up, so far the staff in our office are taking no part at all in the revision and there is no way we are going to help them, as the normal its the unit reps who are taking all the flak they have not had what was promised i.e training, release, all he has had is from the planner which is "heres what ive done and this is how it will be done" well done cwu hq for letting your members and reps down again.

We went from phase 0 to 3,area got involved we're now back at 0.

Vigil all unit reps have been hung out to dry it now seems to me that each D/O has to fight there own coarse on there own.

IWT is wrong ,ive had no training either and still waiting to go on the course myself.

Our phase one is about to be signed off, "well actually it isnt because i aint signing it off" due to the IWT being inaccurate.

Inacurate by the figure they have the BSI set at 100% what a joke. How can it be a 100% for one we dont have single slot fittings. The R/M 2000 fittings due to the influx of D2Ds are now not fit for purpose ,you could go on and on and on but you get my drift and for these few reason the BSI has to be lowered.

Why bother mate being a rep as its now horrendous and not worth the grief .

Since this dreadful agreement was voted in a big Bill and big dave have gone into hiding our T/Cs have gotten a hell of a lot worse.

R/M are not happy with there pound of flesh they just keep coming and coming soon the bare bones wont even be there to take.

And what do our glorious leaders do FECK all they sit on the side lines knowing exactly what were all going through.

I've been to two workshops with DOMs,DSMs and SOM in attendance.First workshop was told the usual rubbish; put the dispute behind us, lets move forward, we're all in the same boat, build the bridges with our DOMs, give em a cuddle and lets move on.
The IWT was explained, all data would be transparent with full cooperation from the business with the strictness that both sides would follow the National Agreement.
Ran our IWT 98% BSI on model week 110% on forcasted winter traffic.Figures were presented to SOM,DSM and IWT planner who agreed with the data.
We was then told that the Business would not pay bonus payment because there was no saving there.
Had a van and S/A taken out through EA earlier this year whilst still under the Interim Agreement and now this.

As long as people keep coming in early, using their cars and absorbing walks that they shouldn't have time to do, we're never going to be any better off. I'm embarrassed by the stupidity of some people, who have been in the job even longer than my 21 years.
Hopefully Coventry South won't have the trouble that Coventry North had.

Very true mate.
We always complain about the union, but we are the union and it is up to people to change their selfish ways and to do the job properly!
It is too easy for them to moan at everything than actually change their ways and fight back.
We all know big changes are happening, some with the delivery method revision and some with IWT etc but after all that has gone through we
still should do the job properly without cutting corners.
As years go on I can see exactly what the future is going to be, and it aint pretty, but lets keep fighting!
