No, mine is great. He only leaves 'vague' addressed mail (usually for a top floor flat ) but apart from that, he does his kill offs, d2d's where he's going, takes all his packets, the majority of bulk postings (when we have more than 1 day to do them) and does the delivery accurately. Pretty much like myself, except for the vague addresses bit. We play fair with each other and he even gets 1/6th of the Xmas tips and all the bottles of wine.

God, I'm feeling guilty now because mines is a complete Tossser.

He leaves as much as he can and Door Steps everywhere.

I tell him he's a lazy bastard and he just grins. Management do the same. No wonder RM going down the pan.

My rest day cover is a great guy and does a hard job i would not like to do I split any xmas tips he gets on the round.

I've been warned about my cover person. S/he (ambiguity applied to protect the person's anonymity to the extreme) knows every trick in the book to deliver as little mail as possible - allegedly - and has even - again, allegedly - smuggled bundles back into the DO and stuck them on the mech to save him/herself a few minutes.

Mines a lazy sod if I throw sky in the frame he takes it out never does the d2d always brings the mail back for the flats on my walk never does the deads and redirections he leaves in the yellow wallets, I don't know how he is still got a job but the manager never says a word to him.

Sure it's been said before ... but 14 months for £85,000 - that's over £6k per month ...

I am a floater and have my own floating duty, i try to do a good job but if I can't complete I don't feel guilty about who has to do it the next day, they are welcome to cut off like I do and stand up to the managers. I am not stitching anyone up I just aint working for free and it's not the regular blokes problem it's the royal mails. I went in the other day and had 2 bags under my desk of a cut off from the day before, the bloke said sorry I told him not to worry I don't expect him to work for free to complete it. That's what Royal Mail want you to do, feel guilty and complete.

I will do the best job I can in 8 hours, after 8 hours I am not interested.
