If we are to start later, moving from 06 15 now, to 7am or 07 15, how the fook can the boss let us start at 0530 on a saturday, as its the 2nd busiest day o the week?
Surely ti fook if they can get the mail throo at 0530 saturday, they can get it throo durin the week at 0530?

our mail currently arrives at 5:20, but none of us except the PHG are allowed to start until 6:30! It makes no sense to any of us as our start times were originally 6:00 but put forward a few months ago.

iam down here in deep west wales 11/4 hours from mail centre mail supposed to arrive at 5.45 every day with second lorry 7.45
first lorry good on times second lorry any where from 6.55 to 8.15 and the split on the lorrys is any ones guess this morning 15 trays mech first and 10 trays on second.also after talking to driver about Saturdays when first lorry turns up at around 5.15 we have found out that his 318 says he leaves at 4.00 for 5.15 arrive time because of his driving hours at end of week!! oh we open
at 5.45 when some staff arrive to receive the lorry the rest start at 6.15 what planning because its Saturday we all come in early to finish early at the moment we throught the driver was do us a favour by arriving early !!!!now it turns out that is right time

We have CSS machines and van sharing coming in the same day 25th oct! Everyone dreading it our start times are 7am to 3pm ish!!!

now what i need to know is the first day not a soul will know how much they will get done in the time
we have been told by the rep that before we leave the office we should tell the manager what we will and wont get done but how will we know? now they cant force you to work overtime
so what are other offices doing what is the union stance?
cos if we sit down with the manager it will finish off with him saying you have got time take it all

ist nov our come in, rushed, only got a letter today tellin us, no resign yet, loops not tested, were not allowed our own cars parked on royal mails premises, no word if 20 mins meal relief can be taken at end of dely, nothin,no family friendly- what a fuckup,rural boys have no idea what there duty times are, 3pm or 4 pm, its a disgace.
