a friend who worked in the post office in the 80s was telling me the other day that his office worked the 318 for 3 weeks once, and they had to climb over huge piles of mail bags to get in the door.

but 80 million items, 20 managers in a van will have their work cut out shifting that...

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Post by deadbox »

Today we had a fair amount of mail.....But allmost all Mailsort 3...some mailsort 2 ....little DSA.....about 10 stamped items.....very few packets

NO mech bundles.....

All the stamped + DSA was stopped in its tracks.....

1st class items taking 5 days now......

And we're not done yet....

We haven't finished with them yet !

Leighton thought he was going to scare a bunch of non unionised checkout girls..........Picking us off one by one, But by sticking by our workmates, supporting one another we can win !
I was sure I'd seen a bead of sweat on my line manager the other day - Until I realised that he had just brushed past me too close

Chaos reigns in our MC by the looks of it  loads of casuals tho, which is'nt going down to well :mad Posties getting plenty of docket to clear walks, not working too 318's unfortunately
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets
