meeting tmrrw locally to discuss progress with union not looking good as union rep still to be released to be involved in any discussions.
weve still to agree duty spans , delv options re sats , walk seq not due until nxt year so why change now only to be screwed again when this happens , no cdv,s as yet heard it could now be hired vehicles we dont really know nor do mgmt.
line manager said last week he doesn,t expect revisions to go through because of looming privatisation.
heard all the latest rumours re no cash after april , no bonuses etc etc
why nothing being moved by cwu nationally i dont know leadership very quiet
and wheres acas and poole and barber now are they not supposed to put all this through nationally

The truth of the matter is, the whole agreement is floundering from Lands End to John O' Groats for lack of direction.

The union are kacking themselves over privatisation and have lost sight of the overview of the agreement, if ever they had it in sight in the first place. Royal Mail are are now having serious doubts about investing in an organisation that within 18 months will be privatised.

I mean those vans have been in that field for so long they'll probably be in the Brighton Rally this year and the HCTs are being rented out to old folks homes until a decision's made to either move on or wipe the slate clean and start again.


Has anyone actually completed a revision yet and received any money?

dundee east guinea pig as usual, suppossed to be coming in at latest 1st nov, trials starting 45 min loops in week or 2 to see if they are workable, 2 folk want 9 day f/night, 11 want 4 day week, 50 odd voted 5 day week, and fuk me, aboot 40 odd didna even return a preference- unreal.There is no doubt its gettinn rushed in here, and its all gonna go breast up, as usual.

Yes I had seen that when it was first published, and that is a mere drop in the ocean considering the number of delivery offices and the date/time for my office was originally end Aug, then Mid Sep, end Sep and now end Oct................the planners still in and as far as I know, the actual delivery method hasn't yet been decided yet.
