Will never see any full timers ever again

I would say its been about 5/6 years since our office have had anybody made up to full-time hours. Over this time roughly 15 full timers have left and ALL been replaced by 20 hour contracts. Thats 300 hours a week lost. No wonder the place is in a mess, you cant lose 300 hours a week and still expect the same standard of work. Everyone from management to us lot are cutting corners to get the job done. Never seen so many managers doing posties work, people not taking breaks, etc etc. That 75/25 split aint gonna happen anywhere except london.

Same at my office as folks have retired, left or died and the rounds have either been broken up and spread onto other walks or the vacancy has been replaced with part time. We have not had a full timer start in the last 6 years.

More like a banana split! Looks good, but doesn't do you any good!

Our 40 hour duties are replaced by mail centre staff, all leaving that sinking ship like rats, jumping aboard another one sinking! Must be the Delivery Supplement that has enticed them aboard!

No need to make part timers up to full time cos most of you are quite happy doing overtime and until this stops............So don't moan about it!
