Has anyone had this dished out yet, noticed its arrived in our office, but don't know when we're getting it.

I'm needing new trousers, but dimensions wont let me order it cause we're getting new gear.

All dished out in our office,not allowed to wear the red fleece waterproof and cagoule until we start the next phase in October.
No mix and match, old and new uniform,CAN ONLY WEAR RM UNIFORM, been told that there is plenty of time to get the right size so no excuses.

Yes, the new uniform is being stored in our old cage, you can take it home to make sure it all fits, but aren't supposed to wear it until the new revisions are completed.
However, i've seen posties in nearby offices already wearing the new uniform, so one rule for one, and one for another!

Pointless exercise ffs,who remembers when we had this when or latest uniform came out,there was supposed to be rolling out day which was completely ignored by most.
Wtf has a revision got to do with it?
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

had ours since july and started wearing it straight away
who the hell invests £2 billion into a servic and makes it worse?????????????

Red polo shirt is part of the new uniform.............it's slightly different but not enough to really notice :hmmmm

Is it just red polol shirts or are there long sleeve shirts still on issue ?

shirts are unisex, alright if your a fat bloke with big tits. Cargo trousers are like cardboard. Red fleece weighs about 10 pounds. Polo shirts are to warm. Storm coat is great. Light weight jacket is good on a windy day.The really good news is its free, but it will have to last you 2 years.

how "great" ? Does it still have the funnel neck, that funnels the rain straight inside the coat? I saw a lollipop man today, and his raincoat looked much better than ours - the hood was fully attached right round the neck for a start, and it had a flap that studded across at the neck - wish ours were like that.

Really not looking forward to the cargo pants :sad:

RM bang on about saving money, cost cutting etc, well today I saw a postie from the new South Midlands Mail Centre out shopping with his missus. He was wearing the new kit, coat and all, PLUS a poncy ruck-sack with the Royal Fail logo and 'SMMC 2010' on it. And RM reckon they are skint!
