It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

1 bag, got done at 1025. some of you guys get out before 7? you must have easy going dums. even though our missort run was done and dusted at 0730 and everyone tied and ready to go, bike shed not unlocked until 0815. still, now the fight begins again, for us non-strike breakers anyway. mon the boys tomorrow. ill be on the line bright and early to catch out the early bird cowards.

You lucky bleeders I worked right up to my time today.

We had hand sorted mail and flats come up to the office - but no mech. However, I had been left five bundles of Sky which had to be cleared today. Funny thing though - no D2D.

Had shed loads of mail on Monday and ended up bringing back half of the walk. The manager noted that I put in 1/4 of my door to doors. When I got in this morning I couldn't find the rest of them anywhere. I asked the lads who covered my walk yesterday on overtime and they hadn't delivered them. The manager has gone off sick today so I doubt I'll be getting any answers from him anytime soon. All very suspicious.

We had to wait until about 7:10am for the mech - 3 budles each but we left the missort run which usually comes in at 8am

Not a busy day, just like and easy Saturday.

Still had 5 bags, but the usual for mine on a Weds is about 7 or 8. One of the LM's was on guard duty on the gate. Ensuring no one left the office till the normal 08.30 time. Pointless really, as I don't think I saw a single letter being sorted from 08.00 till we were finally allowed to leave. Obviously just trying to get on our pecs as they knew it was an easier day than normal.
Wonder what it'll be like come Fri/Sat.

Fantastic this morning, as someone else has already said, if we could make it like this more often RM will soon have to back down. Boxed in one coder by 4.20, boxed in some manual sort at 5.10 and that was it for the rest of the morning.

Still had to wait for the poxy missort run though. I went out for the first time ever, with no packets today!

Nearly worked to my time. Not much came in but we have quite a backlot in our office so we had to take some of that.Weve still plenty Yorks left and I left some Sky mags and mailsort under my frame(would have made my bags overweight!)Cant wait to see how much is left in the office on Fri.Our dom is past caring,he said all the doms have lied to the area managers about how much mail they have not cleared.
