Expect to still work the 40 hrs and it'll be like a tenner a week pay rise for no extra hours

Does that make sense

it's confusing me when i read it......bit like the agreement :crazy:

I don't understand the clamour for a 39 hour week( i've seen some people on here even want 35). If we had that 39 hour week it would increase our hourly rate,so technically we would be paid the same for working less,i understand that bit. What worries me is that it won't take long for RM, or whoever,to start comparing our increased hourly rate with other jobs,competitors wages etc and saying we're paid far too high an hourly rate. Then we'll probably see them start to drive our wages down to match up with such.

Personally i'd rather have 40 x not very much as opposed to 39 or 35 x not very much! Surely we're just helping RM make us all part-time? :hmmmm
