Has your Office been featured in a WTL Video?

Post by Fluke »

During last night work time lying session we were shown videos of offices that are welcoming the changes Royal Mail want to bring in.

The Offices being shown were all empty apart from the sad muppets taking part in the obvious RM propaganda routine, and my colleagues and I were amazed at the numpties and their willingness to spout drivel on command. One person (possibly Bristol) gleefully exclaimed " We used to have 8 people doing these jobs, now with these new machines we only need 2"  In another a postman from the Midlands was pleased with his new trike because he could now get twelve bags in it?

The videos were just mind numbing, Every office was gleaming, not a thing out of place. I swear to god at one stage we were expecting some sort of dance routine with bluebirds, rabbits and various other woodland animals mucking in to get the job done!

Where the F**k do they get these people from? Does anyone on here know any of these To**ers? I'm betting most of them are managers acting the part of postman, or the same prats that I see grinning from the pages of the Courier. :funneh :funneh

Come on if you know these people, or your office has been featured in a RM propaganda video, spill the beans. We don't want names, just tell us. Are these people real?

The people in my office who have seen these films are wondering how long the trikes will last in areas like Hackney, before they're stolen, the mail nicked, and burnt.

Well I would like to see a dum use a trke on my delivery . mine is on a very busy main road no place to stop without holding up all the traffic. Maybee the local council will let us use them on the pavements, sod the pedestrians. the video's were pathetic, most of us just laughed all the way through. I do not think that even the scab's in our office liked them

UNIFORM

Post by coppertop »

No we have not had that yet but I'm sure we will as our Dum and his Dumetts love all the RM bullshit. Would not put it past them to model it for us themselves.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

One bloke is shown wearing 3/4 length shorts, you know the ones that go past your knee a T shirt and a what looks like a Royal Mail Beanie (woolly hat). :funneh Way to go beach surf'in Royal Mail dude :cool :funneh Sorry but they all looked like proper Tw*ts. If you dress like that round some of the estates I know, lifes gonna be short and painful. Obviously big Al in his pink shirt is some sort of fashion guru and I'm gonna end up eating my words. :cool

New Uniform

How about we ask for printed Hawian shirts to go with the shorts might get you round some of those estates Fluke, but it would have to have a RM printed pattern.

Our office was used at the beginning of June to make a film showing how great the later start times are. Needless to say they didn't film the comments of anyone opposed to the starts. They carefully selected a few compliant half-wits to come on and say how much better they were. As far as I know, no one mentioned the fact that they would all be £12.50 in pensionable pay worse off every week. No one who follows a football team and might have to cope with early kick-offs were filmed ad neither was anyone with kids they might want to spend time with. These volunteers who were filmed were the usual assortment of drunks who can't get up of a morning and people with no life outside of work. If you see the film, remember it's a crock and that ninety other people weren't asked to give their view.

More RM propaganda. We were a trial site for the trikes. I went on the training course. They wouldn't let me have a trike cos the area i work in is so shitty.
So i'm trained to ride a trike but can't have one. My poor shoulders and back and knees and hips are still taking a pounding.
