Something touched me today that sort of made real all the crap you read on here. Saw a guy delivering that I'd not seen for 4 years. He's about 60 ,ex printer, postie for 20yrs ,had health problem.
I swear on Croziers grave ,the guy had aged 20 years. Tuesday 13;30 and he's still out there, bent double, leaning forward ,his whole face lined and wracked with pain,every feeble faltering step obvious agony.
If he was an Indian donkey you'd be making out a £5 direct debit . He'll be dead soon, here's looking at you kids

Was a printer for 35 years! happy days good union agreements and us Union officials had special names ie Father or Mother of the chapel etc although Maggie gave a bit of a hiding at Wapping Made redundant and joined Parcelforce spent 3 weeks on nights offloading massive packets onto a conveyer belt which did'nt quiet reach end of lorry(by about 8 foot!!!) retired with back injury .Sadly did'nt get message and joined Royal Mail 5 years ago, what a shambles not sure if i have aged very well, because can't remember how old I am Really would like to get involved in Union again but not sure if I want to spend my last 8 working years trying to work out what the agreements mean

That could be me, not too many years from now.

I'd give anything, anything, to be able to give a bar of what our colleague is going through, to Tolhurst, Higson, Greene, and every other turd in senior management.
