Total f**k up today. Not enough staff do do IPS so a full York of mail left over unsorted for tomorrow. Not Mailsort either, loads of 1st and DSA in it too. I am lost for words I really am Thats what happens when you replace every full time position with part timers. All this on a Monday in September - whats going to happen at christmas or later in the month? No hope at all for this job, all the fun of park and loop to come now too

we had 30 k more mail than what them jokes predict down at the MC or whereever their based. today they got every waysider in at 6. oh and we just lsot another full timer, tahts about 6 this year so far with no replacements.

We left loads of yorks today, stuffed full of MS, flats, and what not. Drivers had no chance with the packets. One day into Autumn Pressure and we've got a backlog already. Got people going in tonight on o/t to try and get most of it ready for tomorrow. Don't know why, if they do get it ready, it'll only be coming back or being left.

pinstripe you ever wonder why we are in the shi*? remember that thread moaning that p/t staff wouldnt help with the missorts, makes me laugh every time i look at it, that and the fact that loads agreed with him , maybe p/t staff should do as he suggested and work for free then all the mail could go on time

theres 2 or 3 threads now on similar stuff, failures galore but being hidden, it really feels like its coming apart at the seams. Who will blink 1st, linos who cant take the strain, or doms and adsms who cannot back up their figures to regional heads or get caught in audits? Even the audits are a joke, the cracks are being papered over. We are in a bad way folks, but its gonna come crashing down on management first so hang in there and do the job properly, and ignore the ones who dont, it will be their funeral soon. Above all keep these threads going, if we share our frustration at least we see we are not suffering alone locally.

we have failed 3 days in a row now but manager says we still have to absorb we say fine handfull on the ips loads of mail left in office and putting pressure on certain people to go over their time to complete not me cos he knows i will tell him where to go what a shambles roll on xmas
