The service button

Post by london sub »

Yes the one that gets you into the flats without having to disturb anybody within the flat to let you in.

Now with talks of later starting times, maybe anything up to 16:00, this will cause many problems for anyone picking a duty that has flats on it. Your dom will certainly not mention to the residents to contact who ever is in charge of changing the time of the service button, because this has not been looked at properly, and will cause problems.

The only solution to the problem is to go to those flats first even if its your last part of your delivery, but you'll be double backing on yourself by doing this, adding more time on to your delivery, especially if you have a HCT.

A lot of the flats I've delivered to have'nt changed the times on their trade buttons since SDD came in. So I doubt they will this time, most switch off at 10 am.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

I see your point, and even right now its a problem, but the problem is only going to get bigger.

You should try and see it as your manager's problem, not your problem. :Very Happy

updated walk logs are a must and you can argue that extra workload or lapsing cannot be added due to 'no access' re time constaint problems, use RM system to your advantage .

:Very Happy if you can be botherd, do what i did. Once i knew roughly what time I hit the flats, i spoke to a couple of the tenants and we camte to a private attangement! no jokes
please! Seriously, I arranged for one of them to let entry door of latch, and Ishut it down when I left. if you explain that you may have to return mail to sender, someone usually obliges.

Bring it back every day, not your problem, at the end of the day it will take you longer throwing it off everyday so you will get out later, there is your absorption out the window then, kill it off if the Dom tells you, then when the customer complains it's the Managers problem, if you go doing flats first they will expect you to do the Reggies that way as well. Not a chance that I will buzz anyone no matter if it 3pm I ain't getting in to a row for disturbing someone who could be on Nights.

even though beautiful women tend to have a lot of suitors, there might be something quirky about you that just "rings her bell".

OK I give in.
