the office I work at, the lads would take 3 rounds each , if they allowed them to work for free from 2am , as long as they could get home for 12 As it is, over half the office start 30mins early, and the parts timers come in very early. They are supposed to start @ 9:30, and they come in as early as 5:30 !! They say it suits them to do this, but how the hell does it?? They can leave at 930, whether they come in at 530 or 9, so whos the idiots?? Theyre running round chucking in other rounds and d2d etc etc

Our old rep of about a week ago, used to come in at 5am and open up (even though he officialy starts @ 615!).... I asked him why would he do that ??? He said coz he cant sleep

The current rep thing closed on the 27th of August ,and of the 3 who put in for it - 2 arent in the cwu and the other one, who`ll get it, worked through all the strikes

The 2 who aren't CWU members, aren't eligabe to go for the Reps position anyway! Unless of course, they joined up, before putting themselves forward for the position.

theres to many coming in early for free no wonder dims are laughing there balls off.

Probably not as many who are working over for free and don't have the balls to claim OT because they don't want the hassle.

Both are a symptom of an uncaring and bullying style by senior management IMHO.
