Managers in our area-Shropshire have been sent EVR preference exercise letters today,also acting managers for some reason have been included.Any other areas been informed?

the dom in our office went around a staff and give us a sheet with several questions on it about VR and buy down of hours.

if figures are to be believed, 50.000-60.000 posties have taken EVR in the last few years, so that means there should be fewer managers as there are fewer posties to manage, I heard that only one manager has been given redundancy, says it all really!!!!

I've been saying that for months. We've lost loads due to EVR/Retirement etc so really we should've at least lost 2 lineo's, but no. What management did was create a LM duty before the cuts and when they were asked to get rid of one they got rid of the job they created, says it all really does'nt it
