this is how management works in my office....
about a month ago to do half a walk on overtime was cut from 3 hours down to 2, understandably volunteers are pretty hard to come by now, especially on Sats.
so management have come up with this absolute masterstroke to remedy this problem.
if the jobs can`t be covered this Saturday then parts of these walks will be allocated to guys on their normal walks, they must do this first before starting their own rounds..and if they run out of time?..then they must cut off and finish it off on Monday!!!..PRICELESS.

Dont know about masterstroke, your managers seem to have been a little slow on the uptake of everybodys favourite LAPSING.
So now instead of getting 3 hours for half round through choice, you do 20-30 mins for nothing extra(if time allows of course
