From a personal point of view those rates seem pretty fair.
From a RM point of view he is being very generous as I believe they have ruled that from a fair while ago overtime for working your day off you would only be paid for the actual hours you work , and thats how they do it here. Its also why they struggle to get people in.

It appears some DOMs are trying it on. It needs everyone in the office to stand their ground and refuse to work their days off for less than the full shift. Any back sliding, any agreeing to the new terms and it will then become the accepted practice. Once it's gone, you'll never get it back.

Group together as an office and agree between yourselfs to not do any overtime for a few weeks and as if by magic the hours you used to get will return.
What i would do is negotiate. Lets say a its a busy fri and you ask for 1hr 45mins for a 1/4 of a walk. If your dom says no, then no it is and you don't do the work. Value yourself don't under sell yourself.
I don't work my days off or do extra walks due to slashing hours any more, and d2d still has to be done aswell for no extra.
I have said this on a previous post.. When Im asked to do o.t. I will only do it on my terms and believe me If im asked to work two hours I want pay for at least three!! Otherwise im not for sale!! They come to me last resort that suits me fine! Im sorry but its my call! I make my own self worth.. you make yours!!

Like it or not WE (THE MEMBERSHIP) ARE ONE OF THE BIGGEST PROBLEMS TO OURSELVESS AT THE MOMENT.

Quite right, I have already suggested this but there are always people that say they need the money and will end up doing overtime for next to nothing.
A new trick by dom this morning was to pay 1 1/2 hours for quarter of duty on overtime for three staff and the lapse the last quarter.
