The Future...

Post by Bloke7 »

The Future

In the future, postal workers will do an hours work or more for nothing.

In the future, postal workers will use their cars as mobile pouch boxes to deliver over 12 bags a day.

In the future, postal workers will deliver over 5 door-to-door items a week, doing one full load per day, including Saturdays.

In the future, postal workers will cover sickness absence by doing the duty that that person was due to be on within their duty time, and if not, without overtime.

In the future, postal workers will not take their full meal breaks and have extra work put on them instead to cover this time where they are not seen as being productive.

In the future, postal workers will be on monthly pay.

In the future, postal workers will do most of these things without thinking, and without questioning.

IN THE PRESENT, SOME OF THESE THINGS ARE HAPPENING NOW.

AND IF YOU CONTINUE TO WORK FOR NOTHING, TO DO ROYAL MAIL'S WORK FOR THEM, THEN THESE THINGS WILL COME TO PASS.

DON'T COMPLAIN IN THE FUTURE, DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS NOW.

THINK!
QUESTION!

You have the right to do your job properly, you don't have to take your car on delivery, you can finish at your finishing time. And all of this has been agreed for you under national agreements which protect you. No more need to be afraid, stand up for your rights and do the job as it's meant to be done, you may just be giving someone else the chance to have a job at Royal Mail too!

Support the CWU, we want to save jobs not destroy them.

And only get paid for 3 :no no :no no :no no :no no

I do agree with your vision but why cannot the strike breakers, who are undermining this strike and prolonging it. :no no :no no

Under the proposed changes these things would happen, and I imagine, with lots worse to come if they get their own way.

That's why standing for our right to work, accepting that change is coming, is right at this present time.
