Knock Knock

Post by Mr Blonde »

or rather,

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

I got a bollocking off a customer for knocking on the door "too loudly" this week.

I like to make myself heard and actually get rid of as much as I can. Theres nothing worse* than knocking and standing there like a lemon cos the householder hasn't heard the knock.

Are you a loud or quiet knocker? :no no

Postman's knock

A simple game played by groups of teenagers or middle aged swingers in which one person is chosen to be the "postman", goes outside and knocks on the door. Another person is chosen by the rest of the group to answer the door, and pays for the "letter" with a kiss. Then another person is chosen to be postman, etc.

The game has many variations. In some versions, playing cards are used to select which people get to be postman and which get to be answerer in turn.

Oh shite i did that as well

When i was about 8 yrs old me and a few others went through a spell of putting dog poo in the same postbox on the way to school. I never thought about it again until i joined RM 13 years later and once the subject was brought up in the canteen. This old postman cursed that some bastard had spent the summer stuffing dog poo in his postbox and how he would have loved to have catched the git.

I kept very quite :left:
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

Because the last time I played that game they buggered off with their wife, my wife, my car and left me a pushbike to get home on with a blow up doll in the front carrier - so the night wasn't entirely wasted :chuckle
