Extended Callers/Enquiry office hours

In many part of UK , extended hours for Enquiry office has been started . ( wednesday till 8pm and saturday 2pm) . How about in your office?

Yep, same at my DO, done on a voluntary basis at the moment (if you are trained ) supposed to change
after revision, possible new duty??.....

They extended the hours at my office months ago. They expect whoever is working in Callers to stay late and book. The DOM is apparently very pleased about the amount of people using the later times that he's on about leaving it open till 8pm Mon-Fri

Our callers office has been open 8pm Wed and 2pm Sat since April. Once our office revision is up and running in the new year callers office will be open 07:00 to 18:00 Mon to Sat.

We can barely get our deliveries covered so there's no chance of people staying late for the callers office (rumour is the callers office is to be cut back to help on deliveries ).

Our office is open 8am-10am 1130am-14.30 mon to friday and 8am-10am 11.30-13.30 sat ,no word of any later hours,don't see the point to be honest.

The point is most people are at work when we n/l their packets so it makes sense to have later hours so they can pick them up.I think it is a good idea opening until 6 ,its saves customers waiting until a saturday morning to get their packages

we are already 7-7 weekdays
7-12.30 Saturdays
I believe Saturdays will be extended soon

I work S/A to cover the extended hours in my office 4pm till 8pm Weds and 12.00 till 2.oopm Sat after the regular crew bugger off, my main gripe is you always get customers turning up ONE MINUTE before closing every time, and some even after I locked the door!!!

I used to love locking the door bang on 12:30 every Saturday and just shake my head at the morons banging on the door at 12:35 :D
