Forgot about that Postie! This will mean :

We will start seeing posts from "weak" offices saying "My DOM wants 5 duties out"

or "We are lapsing 6 duties from next week...the union are s**t"

or "my rep talks to my DOM and laughs at us running around like wallys...whats a branch or a union meeting? Who is our area rep? Never met him!"

Town centre duties all start at 4.

I doubt if all our mail is even through the machines by that time, I can see a lot of people getting really upset when Saturdays move to a 7am start

our office in the south west we use to start at 4am!! :shock:town centre and towns 4.30 am but we are all on 6.30 ,7.00 starts have been last couple of years!! ,i can't say i miss the early starts

Nobody misses the early starts....it's the early finishes you miss.
That's why in these 1 to 1 preference exercises the question asked is "How would a later start affect you?"...rather than the more honest question of "How do you feel about finishing in the dark?".

Was in on a 4am start today and saw some posties from another division in an hour early boxing in their jobs, nothing new there but the best one was one of them was throwing in the LAPSED job! You come in early to sort the lapsing to make sure it's ready for you to take out later!?
