Is this Bullying and Harrasment?

One of my mangers seems to be constantly on my back about everything, it seems that he likes to watch me, waiting for me to make the slightest mistake, so he can take me to task for it.

One example is signing in and out of the office, now I always make a point of signing in and out every day, even though half the office don’t bother, and don’t get any hassle for it, but the one day I forgot, I was taken into the office and given a row.

Another time, I was taken into the office because I had forgotten to put my initials on one of those stickers you use to kill off mail, and yet I seem to be the only person who is expected to do this, everyone else either does not bother to put their name and date on it, or does not even bother to fill it in at all.

Yet another example, I got taken to task for not re-hanging my drop bag, after emptying it. I was in the process of emptying it when this happened. Nobody else in the office had re-hung theirs, and yet did not get into trouble.

It seems like I am being held to impossibly high standards, while everyone else in the office is allowed to do all sorts of things.

There was even one time in which I had gone outside to load my van, which was in the car park, and when I got back inside, I had already been reported for “Leaving without authorisation” I had not actually left the office!

Does this count as bullying and harassment, or is there nothing I can do?

Yes. Keep a diary and try and get witnesses to back you up if he says anything within earshot of your colleagues. Don't ever, ever, ever go in the back office on your own. Stick to your guns, its worth it in the end

Yes you do....he's your area rep.
Most branches have websites...find yours and you should be able to find your area rep's phone number from there.

Ive two years worth of stuff packed into to diarys ,similar stuff to whats a mentioned
And stuff i would and many others would consider a hell of a lot worse.
Been to reps ,area reps etc.none of them care or can be bothered.
All anyone in our branch is interested in is getting themselves into cushier union jobs so they dont have to work.
And god help you if you are the wrong religion,your on your own!!

I don't want to get into a discussion over religion in NIMC but the diary is your evidence of a pattern of abuse that you should use in any B&H claim you make (you could also use them in any disciplinary hearings).

Go with a friend and ask manager to go in his office tell him you how you feel , tell him it stops now ... Any further victimisation that he will leave you no option but to report this !! And keep a diary and make others aware

Keep a diary of everything that happens. Put in a B&H claim and then it will be "independently investigated"... by another RM manager

To be fair though, my complaint was part upheld so the system seems to vaguely work.
