Seems that most people in this country have given up on trying to stand for anything,passive observers of our own misfortunes.

There are plenty of people who kid themselves on(and im not referring to anybody in this thread) that if only this or that was different then they would stand up and fight for a fairer society etc,but in reality are too scared to admit that they are a bit yella and dont want to put their arse on the line(not a crime by the way) and would rather take their chance as an individual in the big bad world,good luck to ye but if you do the sums your looking at long odds for any kind of 'escape'.

I totally agree with you Danelectro but in order to mount any organised resistance to any attack on the working classes which this coalition has planned you have to first find true leaders...not the sycophants, crawlers, yes men, toadies, parasites, fawners, hangers-on, spongers and brown-nosers that sit at the top of most of the so-called "workers organisations" and trade unions in this country.
Yes,you can blame individual apathy...but organisation is the true key and none of those in a position to organise want to risk their cushy lifestyles for us plebs.

Its true our union leaders and our supposed political friends in the Labour party and even in Scotland Tommy Sheridan managed to wreck the only left wing party with seats by taking the News o the World on because he couldnt admit to himself that hes a sex pest!-They have all let us down but we do all have opportunity to join the above organisations and have a vote which a considerable amount of people especially in the general election didnt use.

In general people know that a lot of s**t is nae right with this country and society but feel at present there is nothing to be gained by resisting,but things can change and hopefully will...Barman make that a double
