does anyone from distribution know what the crack is with sky mags, they all came into our office yesterday giving us 2 days to deliver them. are you told to leave them in a corner to the last minute to sicken us donkeys

What stream are they ie: PPI, DSA, Mailsort, etc?

mailsort - we have to deliver it today because its the last day of the month even though we usually leave it on sat

Most got left as our DO doesn't take Mailsort on a Saturday. Sometimes the Managers just want an easy life in the DO on a Saturday, so they can clear off home early!

Me being the arse-licking, rent boy took all mine today!

Seriously I took them because I don't want a cr*p day on Monday.

The canny ones will say they can't do the absorbing on the Monday because it's too heavy with Sky Mags, Boo Hoo, spit the dummies out time.

some were mailsort some 2nd class etc but its always been they have to be delivered by end of month, but people are not trying to tell us sky have just sent them out 2 days before end of month. any ideas where they have been hiding

Is it not a distance thing? We got ours on Wednesday.Luckily I deliver to an absolute s**t hole so sky subscribers are not really in high abundance.

Had our first lot last Friday (23/7/10),were told not to deliver them until Monday 26/7/10),those marked mailsort have been trickling in since Wednesday,had quite a few delivered into us today,most got left until next Monday.

oh well thought someone from distribution might have a answer, i deliver to a sh*t hole area as well but they all got flaming sky xx x x x x x

My office too got a load of MS Sky mags on Friday, some duties got loads and some got nothing

and some left them until Monday and some cleared today...........I really don't care anymore about them, the MC should be sending these out with 5 days to deliver and not streaming them until they have to.

why would you think that distribution staff would hide these things in a corner?in our office they are pushed through to processing almost as soon as they arrive and arrive in delivery offices whithin 2 days so stop whining about things you know sod all about and realise we are all in the s**t together.

In our office, we sort them for surrounding offices, they didn't come in until wed/thurs this week. Which was a lot later than normal. Which meant surrounding offices got them thurs/fri to start sorting. A bit too late for delivering by end of the month imo.

Point is they had to be sitting around somewhere, either in a distribution centre or at a Sky warehouse? I got some at the start of the week, can't remember what the were (Mailsort, 2nd class etc) but got the bulk of them for my walk on Saturday but left them till Monday like everyone else because they were Mailsort. I heard a manager tell someone they had to go Saturday but I wasn't told so Left them under my frame covered by some other Mailsort.

Four cassettes tho of the s**t is a bit much for a Saturday imo.

Sky Mags have been weird this week - had some every day but not walksorted as they normally are - they all came loose.
