I wonder what it cost the union as a trade-off.
Will we be paid for the next election......at all?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Well we weren't paid for them as they were prepaid, and i doubt we'll see the money for them now at this late stage. How do they calculate how many you did? Some addresses had 4+ polling cards.

Re: finally paid for polling cards
The agreement is clear about polling cards. You get paid for them all.It does not matter if they were 1st or 2nd class,or whatever. This is the problem we had.We agreed to be paid a certain number per house for both sets.Contact bob gibson at cwu headquaters and let him know you havent been paid.Like i say it took us nearly 3 months, but its what we were due.Headquaters have had numerous complaints about this problem, but they know who to go directly to at royalmail to get you paid.Dont let royalmail try and fob you off.
