Usless,forever ordering the some old crap,clean shirt everyday washed!! lasts about a month crap,colour comes out of shorts and trouses first wash, look like a tramp, FOR GODS SAKE ROYAL MAIL GIVE US UNIFORM THAT LASTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its not the best...standards have slipped considerably over the years.

I remember when one pair of trousers would last two years, now its more like two months. The dye in the clothes wash away, especially the trousers they turn to purple.
The shoes only last 4 months if your lucky...phone up uniform helpline and you can't have any more because your not past your first year of wearing them out, crazy!

They really should change the name because they were no HELP to me or any of my other colleagues.

we got our new uniform 4 weeks ago and were told not to mix and match old with new but it has already started and managers are turning a blind eye.

p.s.the new uniform seems better than the old one,decent combat trousers,nice red fleece jacket,better,shorter water-proof jacket,3 hats(beanie,baseball and a cricket style summer hat),belt,and a kagoul jacket for deliveries and collection staff.all seems better quality than previous uniform but it is still early days.

The shorts are awful. My old Caterpillar shorts with utility pockets are so much better, place for pens; cards; mobile; wallet; trolley keys; even small packets temporarily.

Given our shoes come from Caterpiller, surely a deal can be made to issue decent shorts from them too?

And what's the one pair of uniform shorts every three years? Oh yeah, so practical in the rare heatwave of a summer we have!

Yet sub-DOM says, "Tell your line manager to order some more pairs for you, that's just Sheffield being arses!" (or something along those lines)
