what failures?

I have read in here about some walks being left in.

Lets do a survey and find out how much mail is actually failing on a daily basis -
Clearly we dont wont to give to much info so how about the first two letters of
the postcode area i.e, KT

The parcels in are office are hitting the roof.

here in b BN area things are getting worse daily . Walks and cut off bags are left till the next day and if they are done packets are pulled out as well as any "hard bits " as this may be too much for the overtime people or the managers doing them . What really annoys me is packets are really the only mail type we have genuine competition with yet they are treated as the least important type of mail . Still I'm sure it will be much better next week our lino is back from a weeks course !

I'm in the TN area, we clear the office most days. Only exceptions are sometimes packets are left if it's unusually heavy. I would say that my office is unusual in that we have a vast majority of experienced staff, even the 'newbies' have done at least a year and most staff are senior to me and I've done 10 years.

I'm not giving my area but some of the walks are only going out approximately alternate days.

massive failure at ours today only two on ips so the rest due ips were preping for p/t's about roughly 40 trays left ... yes the futre looks good bring on more cuts you dim witted fcukers @ senior management level. Just proves no senior manager has any buisness accumen ....and as for the lino's it funny watching them squirming wandering where on earth they are going to hide the unsorted mail

Are you guys for real? Our lino's mump and moan if a single letter is left in the frame after the missort run. I can't recall a single day where they haven't managed to find cover to take a walk out, although obviously there have been days where some duties have been very late in going out. I guess there are too many suckers for overtime in our office (I'm certainly not one of them these days).

We have one round in the office were the lad said there is no way he can finish in time. The manager said stream it, leave mailsort so you can finish at your time if your not gonna work over. The lad said hes already doing that and leaving mailsort but still cant get done. Manager said well stream the live mail ie. anything with an S on it as the stamp as well. All our rounds go over the time but his round with permission from the manager leaves mail everyday. Thats failed mail thats never reported everyday.
