Meal relief?

When people take their meal reliefs before they go out what do they do?

We don't have a canteen or working TV and the mess area isn't big enough to hold every staff member comfortably.

Most people at my office sit at their frames. We used to have a rest room/kitchen but thats now been filled up with D2D's. We've also got a canteen but its up the other end of the MC, by the time you walk up there its time to come back so people don't bother.

We've got a proper canteen. Sizeable too. It could hold all of us but very few people actually use it. It's on the top floor of an old building so most people take some time sat at their frame.Not right but at least they're taking a break. Some dont even do that.

we have a canteen, most posties take meal relief at end of duty.
with the new revision the meal relief will be at set times

Most people dont take a meal relief in our office, they just claim they work through it thus making the finish time 40 mins earlier, or start claiming overtime earlier. Those who do stop and have summat to eat in the morning do so at their frame (as we have no canteen or tvs, just a room with frames in) then they claim that they have worked through their meal relief as well. Why? coz they're so far up the bosses arse they can get away with anything.

most people dont take a meal in our canteen cos they will not pay the prices as the portions are 2 small so best to eat out were you get value for you very hard earned money

Eating before strenuous exercise is bad for you.

Therefore I choose not to take it.
