So having being told catergorically, that because we`re tied to a Delivery Office, as a CSS operator, we would also be getting the £20 delivery supplement.....it turns out, we`re NOT getting it. Thats fine. So obviously, we`re not tied to a Delivery office. Even tho we operate from within a delivery office, and throw walks up, and throw D2Ds into frames, even tho office staff, who never even see a letter, get the supplement.......all fine.
Si if we`re not tied to a Delivery office, why cant we have the full £1000 bonus ????????

You need to establish which of the milestones apply to you, I would suggest delivery, but then you would be entitled to the £20. Therefore you could argue for the Mail Centre trigger .

Lump sums
The £1000 lump sum (pro rata for part time employees) will be paid in two phases.
Phase 1 is a lump sum of £400 to be paid when the Mail Centre is successfully deploying walk sequencing letter mail to the transformation plan for 50% of the Delivery Offices within its catchment area.

The remaining £600 will be paid on the same basis when the Mail Centre is walk sequencing mail for 100% of its Delivery Units.
The £20 supplement is/was a difference of opinion between CWU and RML. CWU belive that you are entitled to it, RML say your not. Question is have CWU made a cock up or are RML up to their old tricks



The final instalment of ColleagueShares will be replaced for employees covered by this agreement, by lump sum payments including additional monies bringing the total to £1000 (pro rata for part time employees). These will be known as Transformation Lump Sums and payment is linked directly to key transformation milestones.

Now how could there possibly be any question of confusion after 5 months of negotiating when all the i's are dotted, all the t's crossed, nothing is agreed until EVERYTHING is agreed and yet 9 months down the line after all the chattering talks are STILL going on - perhaps they should get on to that programme with Anne Robinson - no not The Weakest Link, the one about consumer affairs where you pay for something and months later nothing turns up.

It is true that the running of the CSS walk sequencing machines will be 2300 -0930 or 10.

 I enjoy missing the rush hour
 I only have to work four nights a week
 I can shop when it’s quieter

 I like to see daylight in the winter-time!

02:40 to 03:00 - Meal relief
03:00 to 05:30 – Inward manual sorting
05:30 to 06:00 – Meal relief
06:00 to 08:00 – Operate sequencer
08:00 to 09:30 – Prepare a walk for part-time worker to deliver
